Restricted Gifts

Restricted gifts are designated for specific areas within Sigma Kappa or in support of those philanthropies that tug at the heart strings of every Sigma Kappa member, such as:

• Alumnae Heart Fund
• Alzheimer’s disease research
• Chapter/field specific scholarships
• Educational Area Grants
• Gerontology studies
• Maine Sea Coast Mission
• Sister to Sister Disaster Recovery Fund

Together, we have contributed more than $1 million to Alzheimer’s disease research and gerontology studies and have been giving time and treasure to the Maine Sea Coast Mission since 1918; however, annual, unrestricted gifts are critical to this success, as restricted gifts do not fund the daily operation of the Foundation or provide funding for grants made to Sigma Kappa Sorority.
